Backward Masking & Rock And Roll

Backward masking is a recording technique in which a sound or massage is recorded backward on to a track that is meant to be played forward. Backmasking is a deliberate process. (Wikipedia)

Now that you have an idea of what backward masking is, you ask "What does this have to do with Rock and Roll music?” Well it has a lot to do with it! Probably more than you can even imagine. With plenty of research I’ve found some surprising facts about certain bands that we are all familiar with.  With bands such as KISS, The Beatles, Rolling Stones, Queen, Styx, ect., all involved using the technique called backward masking. What’s message are they trying to convey?

One of the first group memebers to experiment with back masking were the Beatles. They used backward vocals on the album called Revolver in  the year 1966.

Backmasking is a controversial topic. Some people believe it is just coincidence that a secret message could be found hidden in songs when played backwards. Other’s know the reality of how Satan uses music and influences our subconscious. You decide what you believe as you read along....
